Continually charged for unlimited international sms

I love my Koodo service except for one problem.

When I started my plan, I selected unlimited international SMS messaging as my perk so i could text my sister occasionally who lives in the USA.  I keep getting charged for my text messages.  I tried going into self-serve and even RE-SELECTING as a perk again. Still I get charged. What should I do ?   Thanks

I can see that the plan is compatible with the perk. I’m sorry to hear that you experienced issues with adding it. As a resolve, the perk: Unlimited International SMS and MMS, has been added  in order to make sure no further charges occur. 

I would recommend restarting the device in order to refresh. 

A credit was also applied and it covers the charges for the text messages. It will reflect in the overview section of the Self Serve account within 3-5 minutes.
