I added a second line to my existing account; the new line was a transferred number from another company. In my first bill I was charged for my line (which is correct), the transferred line (also correct) and a third line (not correct). How do I get rid of the incorrect charges for the 3rd line?

Hi there @Gart

As the order was made online, the sim card was delivered with a temporary number, in order for you to continue to use the old number until you receive the sim card and for it to be active when you transfer the number over.  You are able to see the number in the Service agreement when you download it as PDF

Even if it was active for a brief moment, it got the chance to have part of the prorated charge and the TAB charge attached to it instead of all going over to the transferred number. The remainder of the prorated charge and the new bill cycle charge was transferred over to the number that ported in.

If you would’ve kept the temporary line, the charges would be the same, however, in this case, it is just split on 2 numbers.

Then your old number was transferred over it and you currently only have 2 lines active on the account.

close but not 100% correct

unfortunately there are full month charges for both numbers

Just to clarify, the temporary line is the one ending in #81  and has only a part of the pro-ration charges and the TAB charge + tax .  The number that was transferred over it, ending in #64, has only the remaining partial charge and the charge for the rate plan + tax and no tab charge on this one.

You can download the invoice as PDF in order to check the detailed view of the charges.  I’ll include a link with the steps here: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/viewing-and-downloading-your-bills

More details on how the bill looks like after activating a new line can be found on our page here: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/your-koodo-bill-after-youve-activated-a-new-account-or-added-a-new-line

Thanks Darius! The bill looks like a charge for another line but the charge is the Tab charge. It would have been more straight forward had the bill indicated anything about “Tab” rather than what looks like a charge for another line. I was also able to confirm alignment with the Tab charge indicated in an email received awhile back. I was in the process of looking for the email.
