Will I get $10 credit on my first bill?

I was told in the store that I will get the $10 credit in my first bill, but the customer service in the phone told me that it might be applied starting the second bill, but it maybe in the first bill. The main reason why I joined Koodo was for $10 off for 12 months

Hi Sagith,

As long as you brought your own device to Koodo, you will get the 10$ credit however, it might take 2 to 3 billing cycles before it appears on your bill. It will not be on your first bill

I got the same answer when I opened another line 4 days ago. Suggest to wait for the next bill which should show the details. Hope it helps.

If it's not on my first or second bill, I will just cancel koodo

You will get the full credit you were promised Sagith, it just takes a bit longer for Koodo to add these kind of credits to accounts. Our Koodo liaison told us it will either start on your second or third bill.

 The old mobile baiting routine.
BTW, we were never given [b]any credit [b]despite what was promised by local "service rep".

Sagith, as I said either the 2nd or 3rd bill.

Conor, from my knowledge the reps don't lie about the offers that are or aren't available. This is a legitimate offer that is occurring for users who brought their own devices and activated with Koodo. I believe the offer started between the 24 and 26 and ends tonight.

[i]Really....
Your reps will tell anything to get a sale just like TELUS, FIDO, Rogers, Bell employees...etc do. That's the nature of commission based sales.  That's how the mobile market works.

back to my point.
We were supposed to get the $50 off phone bill deal back in the summer that your reps promised for a similar offer (BYOD).[b] It never materialized.
Why would I trust this offer?

*It was your company that made excuses as to why our credit never materialized even after being told by a Koodo kiosk employee that we would see a credit after our second bill cycle.

You can send a private message to Koodo's Facebook account asking about the refer a friend credit. There's a specific process that MUST be followed to get it, or Koodo will not give it. It's likely (not saying exactly was the case nor does it justify not getting an answer as to why it never showed up) that the person didn't use the referral to open a new line by mistake or somehing else to that effect.

For the refer-a-friend, there are several conditions that have to be met for it to go through. You need to refer the friend before they activate with Koodo, once they activate then they need to accept the offer and validate it, and wait the period of time. If they did not properly complete the offer or cancelled before 90 days then you would not of received the credit.

Also, Mobile Masters do not work for Koodo we are users just like you.

Hey Conor - does your number end in 76? If so, I don't see an account created on koodo.com/refer. Did you or the person you referred ever create an account? This is the only way to initiate an official referral and get the referral credit on your account. I would assume the rep at the store/kiosk you went to would have mentioned this, but if not, that's unfortunate. The good news is that you can gain referral credits at any point by creating an account on the site mentioned above and sharing your referral code.

Does this mean that it will be applied for 12 months from the first billing cycle it’s applied to
