Why is Koodo still charging me?


On Monday, May 26th 2014 I opened a Koodo account but after I opened it I never used it. I am currently, with Rogers communications which I have dealt with for months at a time. The reason I wanted another service was to have a backup. However I found out Koodo has reported me to Equifax but if you haven’t used Koodo’s services even if you opened an account it shouldn’t be reported etc. If I was to have used their services I would be charged. But if I didn’t pay the charges which I previously, made when using Koodo they shouldn’t report. I am agreeing to pay the unpaid amount but I do encourage Koodo to let Equifax know that I did pay the outstanding amount. So down the road if I do need to register for their service I would want to use it but I decided; to stick with my Rogers account. What’s your opinion?

If the account went to collections and is now being looked after by Equifax, your best option would be to contact Equifax to verify payment and to ensure that your credit history reflects said payment.
