why am i charged a $45 monthly charge for a phone i returned the next day?

Did you keep your service? The bill may have been generated and sent before you did if that's the casew. More details would be appreciated.
My billing is Aug.12 - Sept.11. I bought a Samsung a5 phone which was an upgrade. I had no tab before this. The plan was $40 plus $15 tab. I bought the phone on Aug. 15. I returned it on Aug.16. I bought a prepaid phone instead and kept a $30 monthly plan. My bill came yesterday and it had the credit for my old number, the new monthly charge of $30 and another $30 monthly charge plus $15 tab charge. I don't know why i am charge 2 monthly charges plus a tab charge when i bought the phone outright.
