When to cancel service

Looking to jump back to Rogers. My billing period ends on the 28th. If I port my number back to Rogers on the last day of billing (28th) will I be charged another month or will my next bill from Koodo be my last? Thanks and enjoyed being part of the Koodo family the last year and a bit.

I'd port a day or two before the last day of the billing cycle, just in case there are any delays with the port. As long as the port completes before the end of the billing cycle, the account will be cancelled on the final day.

New company corp. plan with Rogers came out 2 weeks ago. Its unlimited everything for $50 a month, 3 year contract though. Rogers installed a few towers in Milton, Ontario soon after I joined Koodo. I can't resist the unlimited data. Mind you, its 10gbs at LTE speeds and drops off to 3g speeds after that but still unlimted and I can get the LG G2 for $30.

Wow, that pretty awesome, even with the drop to 3G. What proof are they asking for to get this. Or you just have to ask?

The plan is for Magna International employees and you'll need to show two pieces of company ID, one being photo ID.
