When does my monthly billing cycle reset?


At what time of day does my monthly billing period reset? According to my records it reset yesterday. Since yesterday I've use approx. 4MB however my usage show 24MB. The night prior to my reset I was 'wasting' data because I had approx. 100MB left over. I stopped using the data around 11PM so I'm thinking the period resets around 10PM The previous night... Perhaps it's based on a different time zone?

Midnight on the day of your billing cycle date I believe
Lol... That's what I thought... But apparently not midnight Eastern Standard Time. Because 20MB that I had used 1-2 hours prior to midnight got transferred to this month's usage. I'm guessing it's around 10PM that it resets.

Reset should be midnight. If you are sure the data use was prior then I would speak to Koodo about that. But first, check out your self serve usage to find out the times the usage occurred. You could have had data leakage after midnight

How can I see exactly when the usage occurred? I didn't know I could see such details.

Ah... This must be on the website... I typically only use the iPhone app. I will take a look at that. Thanks!

This is interesting... Detailed data says 3MB however the app says 23MB and the website overview says 24MB. I guess the detailed data is the correct one which is annoying because I refer to the app daily.

Yes I'm not a fan about the discrepancy. It is so confusing to customers. Maybe post this as an idea that it sould be one and the same or at least have a disclaimer saying why they are off?

I'm having a similar issue on my end as well.  I just posted a question about it.  20mb was added to my and my wife's usage as well as soon as the billing cycle ended.  I'm on the 100mb plan, so 20mb is a big deal to us. 🙂
