unfair 80$ charges while my installed add on


I have 20$ Add-on installed in my plan 1000min calling to India and i barely used 650 min till now. So why are you guys charging me extra 80$ for calling. Check your system and my plan. I am not going to pay a single extra penny for your mistake.

Well the best (and only) way to settle wrong billing is to contact Koodo directly, Rubal. Dial 611 and talk about your bill - that is better than to wait till you get reminders, bill sent to collection agency and potentially bad credit 🙂
Depending on when you added the $20 plan, it could be pro ration charges. If you added the plan in the middle of your billing cycle koodo pro rates both the minutes and the cost. This could explain the extra $80 chatge

It's not worth damaging your credit rating for $80 --- and they rely on this. Take a look at my post below to see if it makes sense to you.

Another possible and just as likely issue which everyone seems to forget is that your calls to india use your long distance minutes + regular minutes. So if your plan only has 300 daytime minutes, and you decide to call India during the day for 400 minutes, you will be charged an extra 100 minutes of daytime minutes. 1 long distance minute = 1 long distance minute + 1 regular minute from plan
