Unbelievable bill


I started to be with Koodo at Apr. 13 and received my first atatement at 20. Koodo charges me a full month fee for service between Apr.13~16, only 4 days. It is so ridiculous. Did it happen to everybody?

The y would charge you. Pro rated amount from April 13-16 and then a full month in advance from April 17- may 16. Just like a cable bill
Thanks Dennis. My understanding is I should pay for the 4 days no doubt, but not 30 days. The problem is I was charged for one entire month service fee.

You were charged for your first month of service in advance. This is normal, and ALL cell providers do this. On every subsequent bill, you will pay the plan rate for the month you are going into and any overage charges for the month you have just finished.
I got it now. This is a pre-pay for the next month and the pro rated pay for this month will go with next bill. Thanks guys.

It's not prepay for next month, it's paying the month in advance. Ex: You activated on August 6, and your billing ends on August 11, your billing cycle is August 21 - Sept 20. So you would have the Prorated days (Aug 6-11) + Month in advanced(Aug 21 - Sept 20).
