Roanoke, TX, USA - long distance call

I sign up with Koodo on 12th Dec.

My bill shows I made a 7 minute call on 13th Dec to a number in Roanoke, TX, USA for which I am being charged around $4.5 for long distance. Has anyone else experienced this?

You were likely charged the pay-per-use rate of $0.60/minute for calling Roanoke, TX, USA. Koodo offers two add-on options. An International Long Distance Saver add-on for $3/month where calls to the United States are $0.20/minute. Or an International Long Distance add-on for $10/month where you get 1000 minutes to call the United States. (1000 minutes is equivalent to 16.67 hours of talk time).

@PuravS Are you asking why this charge is showing up on your bill? Your dialogue sounds as though you didn’t make the call and that the charge should not be on your bill. The more details we have, the better.
