EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA in the past I've converted NUMEROUS (8-10)Bell and Rogers customers to Koodo and have always given praise...not anymore. Recently I was denied a bank overdraft and learnt that a bad credit history has been reported by KOODO. To say the least, IM NOT IMPRESSED!... Here's why. First off i would like to state that I DO NOT(and will not) DO AUTOMATIC PAYMENT OR WITHDRAWAL ANYWHERE...2nd- I work out of town for weeks on end, often somewhere in a camp, hours from civilization( stores, banks , internet etc.)For this reason 2 things occur. 1- my bill payments are often late...2-for that reason I drop bulk sums of money into my KOODO account.( usually $200-$400)always resulting in a Credit to me on my account. When I brought my phone to a Koodo Kiosk at Londonderry mall, I could not sign up or "join" Koodo without putting down a $200 deposit. I did so, and for the first couple years my bill/ spending limit was $200.if I exceeded that limit my phone would be cut off.No problem...since then, my cap was lifted and the $200 dollars?, Gone. Not even on record with Koodo (I believe telus may have demanded it).Not a problem either....MY PROBLEM IS THE REPORTING OF A DELINQUENT ACCOUNT TO PUBLIC RECORD BECAUSE IM LATE ON PAYMENT.Now to that I ask, where's my $200 deposit, and DO YOU REPORT WHEN I HAVE KOODO CREDIT!? Of course not...if I recall, over the last 5-8years with koodo, my phone may have been cut off up to 3 times.each time rectified within 24hrs. SO WHAT WARRANTS A BAD ACCOUNT REPORTED TO PUBLIC RECORD... it seems a little extreme and unfaithful...makes me want to raise a fuss about the $200 deposit I had given to sign up.It was on my original paper Receipt (8years ago) but is nowhere in KOODO records...uhummmmm.NICE. FG'S sincerely yours, Stabbed in the back.
