Re-activate phone without 35$ fee after overdue payment

I was late on a payment and koodo has turned off my phone for making outgoing calls or sending texts. I did make a payment yesterday online but I think it hasn't been processed yet. How can I get my phone re-activated without paying a 35$ reactivation fee?

You can try calling the account management team and see if they're willing to waive the reconnection charge, but you did agree to the $35 reconnection charge when you signed up for service.

Hi Tim... As Timo said you will have to expose the case with the Payment Management Department, if this is the first time your account is suspended, there is a good chance that they can waive this fee for you, but they do it just once... So it is very important that if you are going to be late again, contact them and make payment arrangements before you are suspended, they will be more than happy to give you more time to pay your bill and secure the account against suspensions... We all have sometimes issues with the bills, and Koodo understands that...

postpaid or prepaid?
Your service was disconnected due to nonpayment? If so, you have to pay your balance plus re-connection fee.

If it’s different reasons , we need more info to help you.
