Random Roaming Charge

I got a charge on my phone saying i was roaming in the United States

I do live close to the border so i think it picked it up from there. I am from Canada

i have obviously not left the country due to covid

how do i dispute the charge and change my bill?

You'd have to send a private message to Koodo via Facebook messenger or dm via Twitter to get it sorted out as billing disputes require speaking directly with a Rep. Although it has been stated here that no such charges occur if people are near the border and connect to an American network.


For the future be sure to go into network settings and choose manual network selection. Give it a minute for the list to populate and select Koodo. It will then only connect to Koodo. Just be sure to switch to automatic when you do end up wanting to roam.
