I thought I would do my son a favor and upgrade his plan to give him more data. from 1 gb to 2. I went ahead and made the change and then realized he used 750mb of his 1 gb and only in the first 7 days of his billing cycle. Ami going to get charged extra for data on the first 7 day prorated cycle? Its supposed to be a "shock free" data option and want to make sure I don't get slammed with a huge bill just because I decided to upgrade the plan early in the cycle without checking current data usage? I would hope that " shock free" would protect me however not sure. does anyone have experience with this? thanks.

Only minutes are prorated. Data is not, so you’ll be okay.
