Paying my first bill?


I'm not sure how I'm supposed to deal with my first bill. My service started on the 8th, and my bill cycle is on the 13th. I don't have anything listed under "ebill" or "current charges", but in the Spending Limit Program section of self serve I have "Charges since your last bill: $xx.xx". Should I go ahead and pay this? I already have Koodo set up as a payee with my bank. Thanks, Alicia

You're not going to see anything yet because the bill cycle hasn't generated but it has shown up under the SLP section. Wait a bit longer to see the actual bill just to be sure. Your first bill is set for August 13th with partial charges from the day you activated (July 8th) to your bill cycle date (July 13th) and then the first whole month of July/August. This is called proration. It happens during initial activation and any time you change your rate plan mid-cycle. So it will look funky but you're not being charged anything extra.

That could make sense, but I haven't actually received a bill. I just have some charges listed under "Charges since your last bill". How can I pay these off?

I would make sure you pay this off before your due date. However you should recieve your invoice before then. If not I would play it safe and pay it and then call Koodo to find out why your ebill is not on your selfserve
