This happened a couple months ago, but I wasn't aware of Koodo Community at that time so I couldn't say anything about it back then. On my last trip to the US, at the beginning of July, I wanted to get the 30 days of unlimited texting Add-on that was still offered at the time. I got out my phone and accidentally texted TALK30 instead of TEXT30. Right away I called up customer support and explained what had happened, that it was a mistake and that I hadn't yet left the country, and could they please revert that charge since I didn't mean to get it and clearly hadn't used it. So they did. They put a note on my account to have it removed, and come the next billing period, I only had to pay for TEXT30, the one I'd wanted. I just want to thank Koodo for being reasonable about identifying accidents and dealing with them as such; having to pay $20 for something I didn't want and didn't intend to use would have soured my trip for me, and instead I left for the airport with a good feeling in my heart. Doesn't get better than that.
