Logging out??

So I see here that people were wondering how they could log OUT of Kodoo and you promised one YEAR ago to ask the "team" to fix it, and I cannot find a log out option on  the home page today. I suggest you FIRE this mysterious "team" and get someone who CAN fix it. Isn't my page and info vulnerable if it stays OPEN forever???????
(and I had to LOG IN AGAIN to post when I was already logged in!)

There USED to be a drop-down from "Self Serve", which seems to no longer work!  Nothing drops down.  The other top-line tab headers have drop-downs.
What the hell is wrong with the system now?

Look....  why don't you just PUT A "LOG OUT" OPTION at the top right corner of the screen like 95% of all other sites have, in one form or another!!   There's being "unique", and there's "user hostile".  The scale is sliding to the latter on this issue.
Fix it already!!

Do you want to post the last digit of your account number too?

As already stated, on my screen the OTHER tabs had drop-downs as they should.  The one you illustrated with the crayon-like scribble USED TO descend when I clicked on "Self Serve".  That little operation, however, is NOT WORKING!
For whatever vagaries of the system and the temperamental nature of that home page's OS or coding or whatever, there is NO descent of a drop-down sub-menu as you illustrate.
So, for times like that (and it appears I'm not the only user experiencing this particular glitch, judging by other comments in this set), why not have an "emergency escape" hatch in the top right of the screen, just in case your home page drop-down f***s up AGAIN in times like this.
Smugly scribbling circles and giving "Hey, it's so obvious" comments in this forum (instead of maybe INVESTIGATING WHY THIS HAPPENS) only illustrate a certain level of technosocial immaturity on the writers' part.  I've been working in computers, IT, DB management, systems operation and client service for just over thirty years!  Basically, I've been working in the computer environment since before YOU were born.  So kindly can the smug commentary, and find out WHY the drop-down function is intermittent, and solve it.
Otherwise, I end up in a position like the old cartoon about the guy with the singing frog....  which sings ONLY when he alone is present, and as soon as he attempts to show someone else, it goes silent, except for the occasional "Ribbet".
I would be glad to forward video clips of the damned inoperability of that tab and a full explanation and recounting of this thread to Koodo's management and/or PR team if that will help.
So, how about you investigate just a little further and find out what makes that tab not tick at random intervals?  YOU guys are the master coders, so, like, do a little search, make a little fix, get down tonight.

A) the "other comments in this set", so far as I can see, boil down to exactly one other person who couldn't log out seven months ago. 😎 nothing related to the menu system has changed in weeks, if not months, so if it worked for you before and doesn't now evidence suggests that it's something on your end. C) I don't work for koodo, I'm a customer, just like you are. D) I'm 38, and I've been working with computers since I was 4. You can take your self important assumptions about how long you've worked in the field and tell them to someone who cares.

Are you accessing the self serve option from a computer or a mobile page?

Is it just that sometimes you have to click two or three times for the drop down to appear or is it not working at all?

What browser are you currently using? Have you tried a different browser?

I am also 38 year years old. Have also been working with computers for a lengthy period of time. I wouldn't be so pretentious to say since I was 4 years old. Very few men are fully potty trained by then. Looking at the dates of this forum I would concur with previous posts. That option was then available.  However, with the new website it is not. I do close the site, my browser and then clear history in order to log out.

The entire point of a forum is to help each other, give suggestions. Maybe we've experienced a similar problem...spent 2 hours on the phone. We could help each other avoid this with out full out demeaning everyone.

No one has to look down on someone if they can not figure something out with a site that quite frankly changes more than Mr. Tito can be bothered to change his panties. If the site is hard to navigate and you're concerned about security, as I said previously, close the site and clear your history. It's a secure site that times out after a certain period of time anyway. It's not a big deal and it's certainly no reason to be a frigging flat out ASSHOLE

Hmmm, quite frankly I'd be more concerned about the people running this nonsense. There's an option to edit or remove... I did see my error with Timo as I used Tito. My mistake, all apologies. My edit with one letter ended up with a repeat post of my previous message. I think much needs to be focused on IT and R&D with Koodo. They completely removed mobile site. The only company I deal with I have to use desktop or an hour or 2 on the phone. Make a payment on self serve. They lost the payment for 3 months. And continuously shuts my phone off every week. I pay my current bill. No one will take responsibility for lost money.

Do not revive a long dead thread just to complain about someone, especially when it's to make several posts to complain about someone's attitude from 6 months ago. Pressing the 3 line menu key on the right opens up a menu with "log out" as the option plain as day. I can screen cap and highlight it if you still don't see it. You also do not need to post about the same issue in multiple threads. Once is enough.

Most people do not have that much time on their hands to read so many. I'm well aware of the menu threads. However, as of now they do not exist when I am logged in. So yes, please, by all means I truly would like to know where these threads are. Much obliged.

My site is not showing the lines is what I was trying to tell you. They are just not there. I did not reopen an old thread. The entire point of a community is to do a search and if someone has encountered something similar there may already be an answer, leaving no reason to start a new one. Common sense, no need for redundancy.

On the contrary, what is considered common sense in 99.98% of online forums is to leave old threads alone, even if you feel they are similar or identical. You can read them by all means, but not post. It's quite common to archive or lock out older threads entirely so as to ensure people don't "necro" or revive or post on them after a period of time. Koodo is extremely lenient in this regard.

Hmmm....we had this feature forever Bob. Not sure what may prevent you what other customers are seeing.
