Koodo ignores cancellation -- what can I do?


Cancelled Koodo in Dec by phone. Now Koodo ignores my cancellation. I'm not in the country anymore, but Koodo continues to charge my credit card. What can I do?

If there is money owed on the account still and pre-authorized is still active, they would continue to do so until the final bill is paid. Since youa re out of the country, the only wayt o call Koodo would be 647-788-4337. If a social media member sees this, they might be able to provide a link for you to email them.
Final bill would've been in December -- just saw a charge end of January. I'm starting to believe they simply ignore that I cancelled.

You should call them at 647-788-4337 or email them through here: https://secure.koodomobile.com/account/appmanager/support/contactus. If you can, you should log into self-serve

Correct! If any tab balance is owing the charg will be on your final bill. As previously posted if your credit card was setup for payments then the payment will be taken from the credit card.

If calling doesn't get you anywhere, email them and select 'social media' as the subject. Make sure to mention your previous attempts at getting this settled

They didn't ignore your cancellation. The January charge is likely your outstanding tab balance you owe on your phone. Just like Rocky said.

On the phone with them. They had records of the cancellation call, but the actual cancellation slipped. They're now clearing it up -- thanks Ahmad for telling me to call them. I hadn't believed it would actually make a difference. Never bought a phone from them btw, brought my own.

Chris, you don't know what actually happened so you can't just say they didn't ignore it. There is a chance it could have happened; people make mistakes and this would not be the first time. The OP now has the information he needs to look into it and we'll see what happens from there

True enough. Assumed wrong given the frequency of people who forget about their tab. Now that the OP stated he brought his own phone it clearer.
