koodo has made huge errors on my data usage. How to I not get charged for it?

How do I talk to a person….. a human? I have been overcharged and told my data usage is high when it shouldn't be but this is the last straw.

Dial *611 from your cell phone, Barbara and then hit the 0 (zero) a few times. You'll get to talk to a person then 🙂

How do you know you were charged for data incorrectly? Have you compared what Koodo charged you with what your cell phone says was your data usage?

Sometimes people think that they are using WIFI, but they are actually using their mobile data. It happens.
I do feel for you I have been grossly overcharged and I spoke to a person and they did nothing but push the blame back to me. and this isn't my first rodeo so ya good luck with them

Unfortunately, the most common cause of these issues are customers being unaware of when data is being used (even when they think they are on wifi). My advice is if you are certain, take a screen shot of your data usage on your phone compared to what Koodo has registered as your proof. When you have proof, there is no way for Koodo to deny it.

My cell was changing settings...si i git a new phone

Hi Barbara
Do you mean you got charged for data use when you setting up your new phone?
Then, I would call Koodo. *611 from your Koodo phone, option 5 > keep pressing 0.

Tell them you got a new phone and just setting it up by store rep/yourself and you got charged for data usage. They might wave the fee for that (There is no guaranty, but it doesn't hurt to ask 😉 )

If you mean something different, we need more info to help you
