Koodo charging for incoming without telling the customers

I was with fido for almost 5 years and one day I went to the koodo store and the rep ask me to change it to Koodo. They never told me that 500 day time mins includes the incoming calls as well, I went on vacations and came back activated my phone, got the huge phone bill for $164 and it was all because of the incoming calls they charged me. That is total their fault of not explaining me. My concerned is either wave me  whatever they charge, because no body explained me about it and no one charges for incoming or just cancel my contract. I am so disappointed, they could've just at least tell me, so I could not use the service.

I'm sorry that they didn't explicitly tell you but it is in your agreement what daytime minutes means and if incoming calls are unlimited or not.

It is also a common practice that day time minutes includes incoming calls for over 10 years for all carriers so it is assumed it goes without saying (like long distance is an extra charge... it goes without saying).  and like Goran mentioned, all details are in your agreement

I'm pretty sure Fido charges for incoming calls.

Incoming minutes are counted by all carriers in North America. Not charging at all for incoming is only customary in certain overseas jurisdictions.

You can get unlimited incoming and/or outgoing minutes by signing up for an appropriate add-on.
