Koodo charges for incoming calls?!

Koodo must detail that the minutes included in a plan include incoming as well as outgoing calls and that if you go over these daytime minutes you will be charged whether it's an incoming or outgoing call. This was not the case with my previous provider and I was never informed of this by Koodo. It should be written in the documentation I received when I signed up as well as in the plan description on my online account. I don't think I should be paying for something that I was not informed of.

Sorry you had this happen and that you were misinformed. But, Minutes = ALL minutes unless stated otherwise in plan description.

Did someone specifically stated it that incoming calls are with you plan Lucille? All Canadian carriers, that I'm aware of, charge for incoming calls as standard, outside of your bucketed minutes. That's why some sell it as add-on one can purchase for unlimited incoming calls.

"This was not the case with my previous provider..."

Koodo used to have plans that include incoming calls.
Maybe your plan with previous provider was xxx Anytime minutes includes/with unlimited incoming calls?

Koodo's website stated "xxx Anytime minutes".  (it doesn't say xxx outgoing calls.)

Afaik Koodo does indeed mention how many minutes are included and whether or not you hav unlimited incoming for the plans that don't come with unlimited talk. The fine print / nitty-gritty states exactly when you do hav unlimited calling and incoming. Basically if it does not say "unlimited incoming" or "unlimited minutes" or "unlimited Canada-wide anytime minutes" then you don't have unlimited incoming. The papers you get fo signing on will also tell you this and what the overage rates are.

It's easy to say what something includes, but extremely difficult to say what something does not include as it can be endless
