Solved

Just ported to Koodo this month, feeling great except getting confused about this.

My plan is the 60 dollar one and without tap, so 54 plus tax. There is a partial charge in my first bill, but I don't understand why it's 10 dollars for only 4 days, from October 7 to October 11. How is it calculated? I'm new here, might be asking silly questions. Please kindly provide some explanations, thanks.

Hi there, When you get the partial charge from when you start your service it takes what your monthly plan cost is and divides it by 30 (or 31 depending on the month) and multiplies it by the number of days from when it was activated until the beginning of the next cycle. So for example if you take $54 ÷ 30 = $1.80 Then take the $1.80 x 4 = $7.20 (+tax) in partial charges. Hope that helps 🙂

Yeah, I was guessing I should count it in this way but I'm not good at math. Thanks for your example.

This will more than likely work better than my example, but I'm not too far off 🙂
Thanks! Now I understand my bill much better.
