Just got the new phone, haven't used yet but I already got a bill for $89

I ordered a new iphone 2 weeks ago, I just got it now but the bill is due in a few days and it is $89 

Did they start charging from the day I ordered it?

I didn’t even register my account until today.

Any way, all helps and answers are highly appreciated.

They start charging you as soon as they shipped your order. 

But if there was a delay for shipment, you can set up call back through chat and dispute your charge.  Let them know your order number, so they can see When you received your phone. Then they should be able to adjust the charge.

Seems like they started right after they shipped, just like you said.

It’s from 4 days ago so not too bad, I thought it’s for the whole month.

BTW, I assume this is your first bill.  Your first bill is always higher than just plan price. Because there is a partial charge ( from activation date to bill date ) plus full month charge.
