I was charged Local Airtime though I did not exceed the plan!

So there are some potential reasons:
- Out of the provinces when you were making those call?
- you were charged for using call forwarding (without the call forwarding add-on)

I am using call forwarding but not sure whether with or without the add-on

actually, I am using call forwarding only when my phone is out of reach. cuz koodo signal is weak in my place!

You could check if you have the addon ($3 call forwarding add-on) on your rate plan.

If you had the add-on, there shouldn't be any charges.

Not every plan. They had some plans with local calling in the last year

Were you recently close to the US or recently sign up with Koodo or switch plans?

No. I guess as Azure123 mentioned these extra charges because of the call forwarding which I have it active without the add-on.
