I can't tell what texting costs in my plan


I have Canada wide calling and unlimited minutes plus 750mb data... but so far my bill and data usage are higher than I expected. It is my first bill... and I have had the phone and plan for just a week and already thy have billed me the full amount and more than adds up. The only thing I can figure is charges for texting...? My plan on self serve doesn't seem to say.

It's not texting charges since you can text anywhere in the world as much as you want on pretty much any plan in the past 1.5 years. Since this is your first bill, it's more than likely proration. You'll have charges from the day you activated to your billing cycle date plus the first full month, which is why it looks bigger than you were expecting. If you want clarification on any charges for additional minutes or data (if you even had any), go to page 3 of your e-bill. It will show you what happened.
Thanks! I'm completely new to this and I have to have a predictable bill. I've capped the data usage and everything I could so this seemed weird. I don't have appaper bill... just the ebill.

Page 3 of your e-bill will have the extra charges explained.

It seems like it would be best if you call Koodo at *611 from your Koodo phone and have a rep who can see your bill explain the charges and proration to you. Your bill will be normal next month This video may help you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlXFWWepQ20
