HELP PLEASE BILLING IS CONFUSING


So, I was wondering if there was a way you could just pay a minimum amount of your monthly bill? Like for instance I currently have a really tight budget and I can't afford my entire bill, but I can pay most of it, would I get penalized if I don't pay it all this month? Anyway, I just want to know if I can pay minimum amount just for this month and pay the rest of it off next month or when I have to chance to pay it

You can but it could affect your credit possibly and / or also yoi run the possible risk of having your service cut off if you ate on a spending limit and depending upon the amount of your bill. Most of this is unlikely but just possibilities. Ive forgot to pay my bill one month in the past and just paid it fully the next month although its not recommended.
Ok, well let's say that I regularly have a 60$ plan but due to my one kid they jacked it up to 100$, what would be the minimum amount range I could pay for it do you think?

Not really sure as they really expect you to pay it all every month and there really is no minimum like a credit card. Id say pay as much as you can, probably at least the $60 it usually is. If your on a spending limit its usually $200 so try to never hit that or youll be disconnected immediately, even in the middle of the billing cycle. The more you pay this month the less you have to pay next month, its easy to get caught up trying to catch up more than a month so like I said just really try to pay as much as possible.

IF you're on the SLC and don't pay the full bill it could cause issues with keeping your service active
If you go over your limit or miss a payment your account will  be suspended (source: http://help.koodomobile.com/my-bill/spending-limit-program/what-is-the-spending-limit-program )
To get service back you'll have to pay your full balance + a reconnection fee

I am sometimes in the same boat as you and as such I make a minimal payment. If you log into self serve (which you can't do today since it's supposedly down for maintenance) You can setup a payment arrangement right there. It'll be on the leftt side of your screen. near your balance. If you're already overdue, a popup will show up and inform you and ask what you'd like to do.

The only tip I can offer you is what I do. Since my budget is so tight, I pay weekly through my bank account via Online Banking. It's super convenient and doesn't cost anything extra. My plans (wifes and mine) are 105$ a month. So I pay 30$ a week. Well hehe I try to. 

Anyway good luck. If you're not already overdue call Koodo on Monday after 10am your time and let them know. They're really cool and will work with you to get the bill paid.

Thats some great info Chad, I wasnt aware there was actually such an option in self serve its really excellent to know though. You taught me my new thing fr the day, and thanks man 🙂
