First bill HELP!!


Okay so I just got my first bill from Koodo, I am with the 29 dollar plan and because I brought my own phone, I get a 10% off the monthy plan. But on my bill, it still says $29. Shouldn't it say 26?? (29 - 10%) And I was also charged an extra 5.80 because of the prorated charge, this will only happen once right? Nobody told me about this extra charge..

Hi Dena, Welcome to Koodo! I'm surprised nobody told you about the extra first time charge... this is something the rep should have discussed with you. The first month is paid in full, plus whatever period preceding that. In your case that is obviously only a few days, but you should have been informed. It is perfectly normal to have a first higher bill 🙂 However, your invoice should not read $29. Are you sure you requested the 10% discount, Dena? Or perhaps the agent make a mistake and didn't apply the discount? Either way you should call *611 and have Koodo apply it now 🙂

The plan would still read $29, but farther down the detailed bill there should be an indication that the 10% discount was applied.
