Hi Jeriannel... If you see that the 10$ charge is for data charges, probably they were before the data was blocked and if you see that the charge is for Content Subscription may be premium services. Let us know to give you some solutions
It says for data and other charges. We blocked data and he didnt go over his minutes and has free text.

I think I wrote my comment at the same time as you... So as I said, Must've been before the data was blocked

Was it blocked before the start of a new cycle?
Data was blocked in december when we got the phone.

did you block it on your phone only, or the account has the data block add-on?

Hmmm, for details it'd be better to call Koodo, sorry. Is it 10$ exactly? If so, that's unusual.
It was blocked on the account. The guy at Kodoo did it for us. Thanks for answering so quickly!

If it's $10 it will be a subscription service of some sort. Data block does not block premium message services. Your son can still buy (charge to the account) music stuff, ringtones etc.

If they are premium message services, then try texting back STOP as that will usually cancel the subscription. These messages screw a lot of customers over as the bill builds higher and higher if you don't stop it. Ask your son if he did some IQ test or some kind of daily joke of the day or such.
