The due date is 5 days before the end of the billing cycle to allow time for the payment to reach koodo before the next bill comes out.
Have you logged into your self serve and downloaded your detailed PDF ebill?
In that pdf ebill what does it say your due date is?
This is my first bill. It says to pay by Oct 1 (includes partial from Aug 29 to Sep 6 plus current cycle from Sep7 to Oct6).
It's likely going off from when you first started with Koodo. I wouldn't expect your second bill to be like that and for it to be “normal”

Then this looks like your September 6 bill.
just like your internet or cable bill, cell providers charges 1 month ahead. This is why your first bill is higher and includes Sept.7 to Oct6.
