do i have to pay more AGAIN???


ive had the same phone and plan for almost a year and now i want a change. Im planning on getting a new one as well as a new plan i=and i was wondering if i need to pay a month and a half for my next plan too or was that just a one time thing?

At no time would you ever pay a month and a half. When you originally start, you'll pay a month and a few days because of proration but that's standard on a first bill. You can change your phone at any time and your bill will remain the same.
Hi Ashley If you update your plan on the last day of your billing cycle then you won't pay any proration charges. The only time you pay proration ( the month and half) is when you make plan changes on days other than the last day of your billing cycle.

Determine when your billing cycle is and get your plan change that time so you wont have to pay for proration and ps you still get proration not just on your "first day" like that first guy who commented said.

Best thing to do is to just simply change your plan the day that your billing cycle closes, remember that the changes you make in the Self Serve account will take effect the same day and can't be future dated.
If you call them at Koodo they could however future date the changes for you.

It is true, but why call Customer Service when you can do it yourself in Self Serve... That is the great thing about koodo, you have control over your account ALL THE TIME!
