discontinued service explain still have net service, what about tab


Due to financial problems have recently discontinued koodo service.,BUT I am still able to go on line with fb, hotmail, g mail, etc. Am I going to get charged for this? What happens to my tab balance, it is negative.

Hi Beverly, Are you sure you're using the network to access the internet on your phone or are you using WiFi? If it is the latter then you don't have anything to worry about. When it comes to your final bill, if you cancel and there is a negative tab balance you will see the tab balance and your last month of service and that's it. Hope that helps 🙂

When you cancel your service, it continues until the end of your billing cycle. If you incur overage then yes you will be charged for it

Not if you ask them to make the cancellation effective immediately.

Hi there, the cancellation can't be effective immediately as a 30 days notice is normally mandatory. However, to make the billing easier, we usually set the cancellation for the end of the current billing cycle. Thank you!
