Data is blocked on my son's account yet I have a charge, how is that possible?


I just logged into my account to double check and it has a blocked data right on it but I am being charged $5, I know it's not much but why is that?  How can he be using data when he isn't suppose to have any?

Hi Wendy,Is there a data block on your account? You can confirm that in the add-ons section.
Hi,  yes it is, on the main screen it says data has been turned off.

Hi Wendy,If you are turning the data off on the phone itself, it can easily be turned back on by your son. You should add a data-block in self serve. It's 2$ per month but stops the line from using data all together.

OI do have the data block on my account, it says on the main billing screen.  I thought that's what it did.  Is that not the case?

Hi Wendy, I had one of our reps check your account and you do not have a data block on any of your accounts and data has been used on them. Your plan is using a pay per use data rate so you will be charged for the data that is used. If you don't want this to happen, you should add the data block add on to the lines.

You have 2 lines Wendy. The $5 charge was incurred on the one with the $28 plan that has no data included. There is no data block on that line. You could log into your account and add it on very easily. It's only $2 a month.
