Cost of Extra Data

Hey, I'm currently on the Canada-Wide Data Double 60 and I have 2 GB of data. I've reached my limit for the month and I still want to use my data. How much does it cost for extra data?

If you check self serve under plan details, you should see your overage rate. It's difficult for us to determine that for you since it varies so widely among plans.

Here's how to check how much your overage is. Go to Self Serve : Plan & Add-on > Plan and then hover your mouse on your plan like on the picture. You should get more info about it

Got it! Thank you both for the timely response. As a follow-up question, does Koodo offer larger data packages than the 2GB I have? I'm expecting to use more than 2GB/month from now on and would like to increase my limit.

It may be more economical for you to just pay the overage fees. Keep in mind you have access to unlimited data, you just pay the overage rate.

Note that if you change your plan part way through the month your plans will be pro-rated. As an example, if you have 2GB and you used 2gb in 15 days into your billing cycle and you upgrade to a 3GB plan, then your original plan will be pro-rated to 1GB for those 15 days (since it is half way through your plan) and you will be charged 1GB overage for that 15 day time period.

This is what I thought. It's a QC only plan but it isn't advertised as tho. Unfortunately, there's no way for you to get that plan unless you have a QC number. Where you from?

Well...Even tho some people find it unfare, I prefer giving you the real info out. Nothing is impossible in life, you need to have a number from QC, therefore, you would need to open a new account from QC. On your next trip from Toronto > QC you could consider this as an activity! Google's going to help you with that. Search MB/SK 55$ plan and you'll understand what I mean

Hi
It looks like they updated the site and your screenshot no longer applies. Can you please provide updated instructions to get the cost of extra data usage?

Thanks

What plan do you have?

Log into self serve > View rate plan > Click drop down arrow on your plan.
It will show you your data overage rate.

If you have a old plan, it might not show you the overage rate.
Then you will need to call in and ask them your rate.
