Charged Twice? I think?


Paid off my bill via the website with my debit, since my pre-authorized wasn't showing up. Proof of payment is on my chequing account. Now, my pre-authorized payment just showed up on my credit card after just paying off my bill. So am I being charged twice... or will this correct itself?

I've been trying to talk to an actual human being with customer support, but apparently, they don't exist. Which is royally pissing me off.

You may have double paid.

Worst case scenario it'll just stick on your account as a credit until your next bill and you wont have to worry about that one.

We can only see the pre-authorized payment on our end. If your bank did not send the amount for the manual payment yet, you could still cancel it by getting in touch with them. 

If the transaction goes through, as Allan said, the credit can stay on the account for the next month.
