Charged for a long distance call.

I got charged for long distance call to Seattle, even though I did not make a call there.  Has anyone else had this experience with this?

 

The agent I asked said that possibly the person I called was on roaming near the border.  I don’t recall I contacted anyone near the border though.

 

Any advice?

That is not a thing. If you still called a Canadian number it does not impact you making the call. What's the area code you called for the call that got charged?

Hi,

The area code is 206, although it says the place I called was in Vancouver for 12 minutes.  I did not get charged for this.

There are 2 other calls from the same number which specify the place I called was to Seattle for a few minutes.  I got charged for this.

Not a big deal, but I would like to know how this happened.
