Change plan before billing cycle but still being charged for old plan

I changed my plan to a cheaper one before my next billing cycle but I it didn't reflect on my bill. I understand I'm charged a month ahead but I made the change before the billing cycle started. Why is it not updated ? Thanks

You will be able to see the change on your next bill if you did indeed change your plan. Note that your end of your billing cycle, the day you get your ebill, and the day your ebill is due are different things

You got prorated for your previous plan as well as the new one. Totally normal, happens every time you change a plan not close to your bill cycle date.
