Can someone PLEASE help me!

I tried calling normally first and I was on hold for 45mins, and then the koodo line hung up on me.So I tried the scheduling, its been over an hour since the schedules time...no text..no call.

Can someone over here just tell me if I can use my self serve to pay off my debt. Because I refuse for another 3rd party to take my money and disappear.

TL.DR: Metcredit had my bill first, I payed them some money. Awhile later they tell me Koodo took back the debt. A day later I get a message from general credit saying they have my debt and have been trying to get ahold of me for awhile. This is so sketchy as the money I gave metcredit doesnt even show up anywhere. When I log into my koodo account, my bill is still the same amount. It gives me the option to pay online, so can't I just do that?

Im frustrated enough that I somehow owe $4,500.

I had a basic plan for only a couple of months. But then my unexpected pregnancy and abuse hit me so I had to leave my job and school. I tried to get into contact with Koodo way back then to explain the situation. But they make it impossible to talk to someone over the phone. I should only owe like a few hundred, not thousands. So if im going to pay an insane amount of money that I shouldnt owe, I should be able to directly to the company.

We are mostly customers here, we don't have access to your account, and didn't know what really happened. With the closed account and collection agency, you might want to try to contact Koodo directly again and again.

@Erica B It's been a few years since you were a customer of ours. You do not have an active account with us therefore the option to pay us in not possible. If and when an account goes into default companies typically "sell off" debt to third parties. Based what you described above that is likely what happened.

For the call back I assume you gave a working Canadian number?
