Bring Your Own Phone, SIM Card and Plan Activation Help


I have my own phone and purchased a SIM card and selected a plan online.

The SIM arrived today but there is little to no useful information included other than a packing slip.

I cannot register for a self serve account without an account number.

Am I missing something here?

Did you receive an email from Koodo when you registered for service online about an account number?
No, I did not or I would have used that. I've received two emails from them. One was to confirm my order which just contained a summary of what plan I selected, my SIM card, purchase total and shipping address. The second was a shipping confirmation when it was mailed.

Ian, it sound like the SIM hasn't been finished to be activated. Is that correct? I see your account is only at a tentative state. I know we had tons of orders in the last week, so things may have slipped through and your . Can you pls tell me what your order number was?  
Hi Bernard, Exactly right. I didn't get any information with a phone number or anything yet. Order # HFO18581025 I've been trying to figure it out while I wait for the phone line to open. Thanks

That's what I thought. Had it been activated we would have sent another email with pertinent info to set online account up. Phone lines will likely be jammed given all the orders. I'd suggest you send us a private message on Facebook and we could try to help there. We will need the SIM number.

Right on. Okay thanks. I didn't think I was doing something wrong. I'm a pretty tech savvy guy. Registering for an account on a website isn't usually something that gives me issue. Appreciate your input thanks!

Ian, looks like you called in at the end. SIM is activated. We sent an email to register for self serve. Pls use the last email you received for validation. Ignore the previous ones.
