Bring back per second billing

How about brining back per seconds billing. That would make Koodo more attractive than any other reputable supplier on the market right now. That was the MAJOR point that made me choose Koodo back in the days. A lot of people do multiples short calls and with per minute billing that is WRONG. So please STAND OUT as a company and bring back per seconds billing...Maybe as an "add on" for cheap like 2$ a month or something that would be VERY nice 🙂

Few times ago i thought that all the Canadian providers will surely switch to the per second billing and follow the tracks of Fido and Koodo. But the opposite happened.......i cannot understand the volte face of Fido and Koodo !!!

Topic has come up a few times. I believe it was marked "Not planned" each time. Plus half of Koodos plans now have unlimited minutes anyway. Even then since they had per second billing the cheaper plans have gained more minutes which should in theory offset the loss of per second billing quite a bit anyway. Mathematically for each call you're not going to loose more than one minute anyway. It's a nice feature to have but these days is it really needed?
Well it is my need as a no-data user who pay under 30$ per month. "Per second billing" is why I chose Koodo at first and this is why I think they should bring it back. They keep adding minutes to their plans but the price is increasing as well...whatever...this is my suggestion to them...I would recommend koodo to my friend over any other company if they would have that feature. Now I'm telling them that every carrier is about the same !

You have a fair point, but unless you changed your plan you came to Koodo for you should still have per second billing. I tried to look up older per second billing plans, and best I can find are these ones from when they added Canada wide calling to them. http://mobilesyrup.com/2011/07/21/koodo-revamps-monthly-plans-removes-long-distance-charges-within-canada/ If I compare the under $30 plans with the current $25 plan. You would gain more minutes (200 vs 50,100,150) (+1 new) Both get Canada wide calling (draw) You would gain unlimited texting (vs 50) (+1 new) You evenings/weekends would could start later or earlier (7 vs 9, 7, or 5) (draw) Both have family calling (draw) You gain Caller ID/Voicemail (+1 new) so I see a few advantages to the newer plans that unless you were on the old $25 plan would likely make your new plan cheaper. It is even better if you were on the $35 since you get 400 mins, unlimited incoming and 5 pm nights/weekends. The old $15/$20 plans would probably be essentially replaced by prepaid service (which Koodo didn't offer at the time).
