Automatic payments canceled without my knowledge


My automatic payments were suddenly canceled on July 21/22nd. They have been running fine for a few years, and I just got a message that I canceled the auto payment - I did not cancel them. I don't generally check to see if these auto payments have gone through, so I now have late charges and I'm afraid that there will be more charges to come. Did something happen at Koodo that would have caused this cancellation?

There's only one reason that I'm aware of that they'd be removed automatically. Which is if there were consecutive failed payments. Unless you or someone with your security info called to ask to have the payments removed there'd be no other reason.
