about to be suspended - question regarding preauthorized payment


Hi, I've got two outstanding monthly payments, with a third payment being due tomorrow. I've set up pre-authorized payment a few weeks ago. Will it pay the outstanding amount + the incoming amount and stop my phone from being suspended? Thanks

It takes a full billing cycle for preauthorized payments to take effect. How long ago is a few weeks? If it was set up a full billing cycle ago or longer it will pay for the outstanding balance plus the incoming amount. Although if I were you, I would pay manually using a different method, just to be extra sure since there is a $35 reconnection fee if your service is cancelled due to not paying bills. You may want to just do a manual payment to cover what you owe. Your next bill will be paid automatically.

I highly recommend Kane's advise. There's a very good chance the pre-authorized payment won't be taken out this cycle.

Thanks guys. I had never done the online banking payment before, but that worked pretty well and easily. I've paid and called customer services to inform them of my payment and they have restored my service while they wait for the payment to go through.

Please contact the payment management department ASAP. Dial #227 or 855-325-6636 to setup payment arrangements to prevent interuption of your services. They basically protect your account until the payments come in. Otherwise $35 reconnection charge will be applied if your services suspend.
