Question

Wrong bill. Charged for last month again PLUS this month's bill.


I paid last month's bill on time, but this month, I'm being charged for this month PLUS last month. Why? I paid online, so I have proof of last month's payment in my bank statements.

Hey, Dennis. It was due Jan. 9, 2017. I paid Dec. 30, 2016 via online banking from my Scotiabank account. I've been paying this way since I signed with Koodo in Nov. 2015 and have never had this issue.

Does your new PDF ebill say you had a carry over amount from your previous bill plus also a late fee?

I assume since you have been paying this way for over a year, you have the account number saved so you wouldnt have entered the account number incorrectly?

Dec.'s bill was actually lower than the usual $56.00, so I had to enter a new amount, $45.40. I accidentally paid $45.50 though, just 10 cents more. My current bill says "Balance forward from your past bill - $45.40" plus a late charge of $0.91.

And what is your Amount due when you log into self serve? Is it $45-50 or around $100?

The only think I can think of is that the account number was entered incorrectly or there was an error between koodo and the bank.  Can you check the account number you used for payment matches the account number on your ebill?

Dennis is right, LKC.  Check back to your banking info.  We see that the last time a payment was made was Nov 28 for $56.
