Will these phone work on the Koodo network (with prepaid plan)?

I have two question regarding coverage:

1, I'm wondering if the new OnePlus Two (OP2) works on the Koodo network. Its specification are:
Connectivity:
(North America version)
GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz
WCDMA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8
FDD-LTE: Bands 1/2/4/5/7/8/12/17

2, the same question, but for a different phone (Samsung galaxy S5 MINI). Its specs are:
Network: 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA, 4G LTE FDD
2G GSM: GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900
3G UMTS: B1(2100), B2(1900), B5(850), B8(900)
4G FDD LTE: B1(2100), B3(1800), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B20(800)

Thanks

Koodo uses
3G HSPA+ 850/1900
4G LTE 1700/2100

Soooo....
1) 3G yes.  LTE yes
2) 3G yes.  LTE no

So does that mean that with number 2) I would be able to call/text, but cannot use data?

Means you can use data at 3G speeds but not LTE speeds

3G speeds aren't exactly slow either. I keep my LTE off and get by just fine.
I would suggest you take the phones into a shop and have them use an active SIM before committing. Remember Koodo cannot guarantee service of a device that they did not provide.

This is honestly a waste of time unless you don't know the phone's specs.
