Wifi turning off and no notification from Koodo on data usage.....

I'm not sure what is going on with my phone, I have an LG G3 phone and this is the second month that my WiFi has been turned off and I'm not sure how. Last month I received a text notification letting me know I had used 50% of my data, which was great I was able to see the WIFI disabled and turned it back on. Well this morning I was on my phone and just thought I would check the WIFI to make sure it connected to work, and low and behold my WIFI was turned off and apparently I have used 454 mb of my 500 mb. I have not received any notification letting me know I was at 50%. Now I have no data for the next month. Also when I check my data through self serve it's showing only 20mb used.

Firstly the data counter on your device is wildly inaccurate. It doesn't count the way Koodo does for billing. And it also counts mms use which koodo doesn't. whatever self serve says should be considered your current use. For your phone, you'll need to perform a factory reset. Make sure to backup anything important before you do this as a factory reset would erase all of your personal data and return your phone to the condition it was when it left the factory.

Chad the reset doesn't work. When wifi goes on Koodo turns it off.I've been told at Wireless and Koodo to buy a new phone. This phone works. The exception is that the phone shows data use danger for google apps, while on wifi connection,

There is bomething wrong with Koodo. You have too many customers with the same problem: wifi won't connect, connection goes off, Koodo messages no service, turning on and your reps advising buy a new phone as the offers are down graded with any financial offer from Koodo to bring Koodos sale balance to $.00 or in a profit.

The topic was 2 years old. Lots of things changed.

It is an old topic and problem with Koodo and LG equipment. It is a topic that is causing me problems right now. It is on topic and I'm looking for the earliest complaints to show that the Koodo equipment is rife with this same old problem. Dinh keep up to date. I have posted my own comments and have added to this one. If you don't like how you handled the problem before, unresolved, try to find new solutions.

@Anna: as you said, I should keep things "up to date", many other have questions and comments in your other topics. Can you keep other customers "up to date"?

Quite true. Trolling for WI-FI is a problem for Koodo phone users. Some have the same problem as those from the pre historic age.
