Why my bills failed to be paid with the pre-authorized payment I have setup?


I just realized that in past three months, since I updated my pre-authorized payment, none of the bills have been paid. And now I am charged with interest of late payments.

I thought maybe I didn't enter the information of my credit card correctly however when I tried online payment using the registered card it went through successfully. So now how do I know if the issue with my pre-authorized payment is not going to reoccur?

Odd indeed, Saeed. I see that the new card is registered on your file, but also see that no payment has been taken out automatically since the old card expired in October. I've shared this with our team that looks after e-billing. Let us dig into this and report back once we know more.

Saeed - I just learned that an update to your pre-authorized payment method doesn't take effect the next billing cycle. Although your old card expired in Oct., looks like the new card wasn't updated on file until Dec. 6. when you shared the info. Your next bill should be paid automatically from the new card. Hope that helps answer your question.
