Why is my Samsung Galaxy S3 shutting off randomly?

I purchased my phone two months ago. In the past few weeks, my phone has shut itself off twice. I have no idea why. My phone is always on me (in a pocket, etc.), and the first time it happened I couldn't get it to turn back on without removing the battery first. This time, I merely had to hold the power button down, and it restarted. Help!

Your phone is in warranty for 1 year from the point of purchase. Long as your phone isn't physically/water damaged your warranty is still good. Witht hat being said I'd contact Koodo for repair options or take your phone in for repair at any Koodo kiosk. If you wish to go this route a loaner device will be provided free of charge until your phone gets back from repair.
