Also, when did you get your phone? Was it working properly before?

Yes, I believe, it was cut off because of the month ended today, but I had already paid in mid February for the month of March.

Hi, Lucienne
Do you have a prepaid account bu any chance?
You don't receive a monthly bill, you top up your account...?

And if you can create a new post with detailed info/issue you are having, you will get more help and suggestions.

If Koodo shuts off your service it will not prevent your phone from turning on. That's a phone issue, not a service issue.

If it's really dead, try this site. Punch in the make/model. You WILL lose settings and data. http://resetcellphone.com/how_to_reset_Samsung_sgh-i747-galaxy-s-iii

Hi Lucienne!

If your phone shut off completely, you may have a battery issue. As Timo mentioned, this would have nothing to do with your monthly payments as your phone should turn on regardless.

You'll need to wait until you get back to Canada to have your phone checked at a Koodo Shop. If your device is still within the 1 year warranty, you'll have the option for a repair or battery replacement, depending on the state of the phone. Here is a link with info on the warranty: http://koo.do/Kwarranty

Hope this helps 🙂

It is within the 15 day return period. Koodo will replace it with a fresh one if you return it to the store where you purchased it. Take your receipt, etc with you, and they'll fix you up.

What phone is it? If the phone actually shut down, as it would if the battery died, you need to hold down the power button, (not the home button), for about ten seconds to turn the phone back on.
