Why do I have four bars but it says mobile network not available? Been this way for nearly one hour no matter where I am.


Got a call at 6:54am, tried to call out 15 minutes later, showed no mobile network available. Drove home, tried to call, same problem. Customer service not open until 9 am. How am I supposed to make a call?

Let's start with basics, shut it down, remove battery and sim card, replace both and restart the phone. Still have issues?
Thanks Chad for the advice. It worked. Checked with my son who also has Koodo and he did not have any problems, so it must have been my phone.

when in doubt always pull your sim card works for most problems another thing you can do is put your phone in flight mode and then take it out of flight mode this disconnects all wireless connections and refreshes the network.
Mine is doing the exact same thing... I've shut it down, pulled the battery and SIM card out many many times and it will not work. it says the selected network is unavailable. any suggestions?

Was your phone working before? Do you have any another Koodo phone to test your sim card? If your sim card works in different phone, your phone might have a problem. You can take it to the nearest Koodo shop and ask them if you can send it for repair under warranty. If your sim card doesn't work, you can get a new sim card and activate it.
