These are really the only ones that actually work: https://www.wilsonamplifiers.com/ and even they are designed to take a moderately strong signal and rebroadcast it to increase the range. If there is no stable signal for the booster to pick up, you may get a 5 bar connection to the booster, but still have a poor connection to the tower.

Their tech support is excellent. Check out the manual and installation instructions before buying. Unless you are capable of respecting the installation guidelines (distances, orientation, etc), you will be wasting your money.

The golden rule as Timo stated is that you have to have a decent signal outside for starters, something better than -100db. 10x zero will still be zero.

The manufacturer's web site for further information is

www.weboost.com.

This is what Koodo gives to me. Not very much, right, just a little dot, no bars. With the cheapest Wilson Amplifier I get 5 solid bars.

The 5 bars on your cell won't help if the booster loses its 1 dot connection to the tower.

That is absolutely right but I always get my little nice dot. Sure enough I would like to get a better signal, after all I pay the same amount of money that other customers are paying for the same plan.
