If restarting and pulling the battery doesn't do it and you cannot fre up enough space to download another keyboard to try you're just gonna have to backup your phone and factory reset Actually... try using Samsung Kids and hook it up to a computer and see if it can clear issues on your phone first. Then backup and factory reset if not.

Yes I did. I missed the autocorrect changing that. But taking a look at the j1 ace, I believe that you actually need Smart switch.

Before performing a factory reset, put the phone in safe mode first. If the keyboard reappears, a third-party app may be conflicting with the phones' keyboard. Given that this phone has limited storage, you may have to store music, photos and some apps (if possible) to a microSD card, (if installed).

1.With the device powered on, press and hold the Power button (located on the right edge) until the Phone options prompt appears then release.
2.Tap and hold the Power off icon until the [b]Reboot to Safe Mode prompt appears then release.
3.Tap Restart. The restart process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.

Upon restart, Safe mode appears in the lower-left of the unlock/home screen. You will have access to system apps, such as the built-in Messaging app, which will allow you to see if the keyboard re-appears. If it does, a third-party app may be preventing the keyboard from appearing.

To exit safe mode, press and hold the power button until the phone turns off. Press the power button to power the phone back on. Phone is no longer in safe mode.

Also try deleting unneeded apps and photos. Android doesn't like it when storage space get too low.

Especially on budget phone specs.
